A young life gets cut short

A celebration of life was the only way to describe the funeral service of one of MATC's thriving students, Lakisha J. Alexander, 27. She was obtaining her associate degree in Human Services at the Downtown Milwaukee Campus, when an unfortunate car accident caused her death. (4) comments

Hoping to attract the works of aspiring and talented Graphic Arts majors, the Chess Club has decided to sponsor a contest that will award $100 in cash to the student that submits the most attractive and professional chess logo design for the club. Students travel to D.C. to meet with senators

In October, Student Senate members representing the four campuses went to Washington, D.C. for a leadership and advocacy training trip. Also attending were key members from ASACC. Students need to protect their cars and remove any valuables at the West Allis Campus. Last month one car was stolen and three cars were broken into at the West Allis Campus. The car that was stolen was a 1991 Honda Accord that was parked in the northwest parking lot. (0) comments

During President Obama's visit to Madison, he talked about the value of education, the need for a college education and the changes that need to be made if we as a nation hope to compete globally.
